We have hosted lectures with prominent and wise figures such as Prof. Dr. Pandit Vidyasagar, Vice Chancellor(VC), SRTMU, Nanded, Prof. Dr. Arun Adsool, Pro VC, SPPU, Pune, Prof. Dr. Sandjay Dhole, Prof. Dr. Suresh Gosavi, SPPU, Pune, Dr. Rakha Dabhade, Ferguson College Dr. S. D. Agahv, Prof. Bharat Kangude, President IAPT, SRC, Pune and Many more.

Science Association organizes the Science Exhibition in the last week of January every year. Almost 900 students actively participate and present their contribution through different activities of science exhibition. The Judges of each subject are invited for the evaluation from national institutes.

Science Association organizes valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony every year in the month of February. Winners of different activities and volunteers were felicitated by giving token of appreciation like trophies, certificate, and cash prizes.

The department of Physics in collaboration with Science Association organised Ψ Fest. The objective of Ψ fest is to give scope for the students to participate in science related activities and ignite minds with the scientific thought. First Ψ Fest was held on January 20, 2020 and is based on the theme of dark matter.

Vidnyan Bharati Pune and Science Association of Sir Parshurambhau College collaborated an event. The aim of this event was to introduce the importance of learning astronomy and astrophysics. Along with this it also provided knowledge about the founding and workings of IUCAA. Prof. Somak Raychaudhury were the speaker of the event.

Science Association helps to the the different organisations in organizing scientific events with the help of staff members and students volunteers. Recently, 30 staff members and our 150 student’s volunteers help in the organization of content part of mega event, Kutuhal. Students and faculties were also participated in exhibition organized on 50th anniversary of ISRO at Fergusson college ground and for the organization of 22nd International symposium on rock art research held at Deccan College, Pune and Rock Art Society of India.
